Lip Piercing Jewellery

Lip piercing is of different types and so is lip piercing jewellery. Modes for piercing lips are of two types. The lower and the upper frenulum are the two lip frenulums that can be pierced. Behind the lip area is present a very thin piece of skin which is usually pierced to fit the jewellery. Lips are welded to the gums in the procedure. In the case of a lip plate widening of the lower lip takes place, for accommodating plugs for the lips. Lips can be brought back to normalcy only after a minor surgical procedure. Labrets for lips, rings, studs, etc are some of the pieces of lip piercing jewellery used by a large number of people. A piercer who is experienced in the field of lip piercing only should be approached to be on the safer side always. Besides this only high quality lip piercing jewellery needs to be used.
