Piercing Tapers

Piercings need to be stretched at times during the piercing process for which piercing tapers are very necessary. Insertion tapers are very necessary in the procedure where a tool that looks like a needle termed as a taper stretches the piercing. Depending upon the thickness desired accordingly a taper can be used. Tapers are available in different kinds of gauges. Lubricants can be used while using the tapers but care should be taken that they should not be water based. If the stretching has to be done in the mouth then a water based lubricant will do. The desired size can be achieved by pushing tapers according to the size needed. Necessary care needs to be taken to not push piercing tapers too hard or else injury can be caused. Make sure that only high quality tapers are used to avoid infection of any kind. Discomfort can be avoided by rubbing the area slightly.
